Dr. Paolo Martelletti is director of internal medicine and of the emergency medicine ward at Sant’Andrea Hospital, and associate professor at Sapienza University of Rome. He is the past president of the European Headache Federation and the Italian Society for the Study of Headache. He has also been chairman of the World Health Organization’s global campaign against headache called Lifting The Burden. Dr. Martelletti has published over 400 articles and book chapters. He is the editor-in-chief and founder of The Journal of Headache and Pain, and has served as an editor of many other journals.

Rashmi B. Halker Singh, MD, FAHS, FAAN
Rashmi B. Halker Singh, MD, FAHS, FAAN, is an associate professor of neurology at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., where she also serves as the headache medicine fellowship program director, neuroscience block faculty member at Mayo Medical School, and a member of Officers & Councilors. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in neuroscience before attending medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit. She then completed both her neurology residency and headache medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Arizona before joining the faculty in 2011. During her residency training, Dr. Halker Singh was named the external chief resident.
For the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Halker Singh is the previous chair of the Headache and Face Pain Section and a current member of the Science Committee and has served as course director, faculty member, and plenary speaker at the annual meetings. For the American Headache Society (AHS), she is a member of the board of directors, as well as co-director of the Resident Education for Assessment and Care for Headache (REACH) program, current chair of the Women’s Leadership Development Subcommittee, co-director of the Scottsdale Headache Symposium annual meeting, and a member of several committees. She is also the deputy editor and the online and social media editor of Headache, the official journal of the AHS, and is an editorial board member of the American Migraine Foundation.
She has been a speaker at many international, national, and regional meetings and has numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and abstracts related to her fields of interest, which include migraine, women and headache, telemedicine, and medical education, as well as topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Christopher Gottschalk, MD, FAHS
Christopher Gottschalk, MD, is the chief of the Yale School of Medicine Division of General Neurology, as well as an assistant professor of neurology. Dr. Gottschalk established the first headache medicine program at Yale, the Yale Headache and Facial Pain Center, where he continues to treat patients with chronic headaches and facial pain. In addition to his clinical work at Yale, Dr. Gottschalk is researching ways to optimize interventions to improve headache diagnosis and management across medical specialties. Recurring moderate to severe headaches are often misdiagnosed and poorly treated, which is a problem that Dr. Gottschalk would like to change.
David Dodick, MD
David Dodick, M.D., FAAN, is a professor of neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is the director of the headache program and the sports neurology and concussion program at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He is an adjunct professor in the department of neurosciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Dr. Dodick is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He also holds United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties certification in headache medicine and ABPN certification in vascular neurology.
Dr. Dodick has authored more than 380 peer-reviewed publications and authored/edited 10 books. Eric Baron, DO
Dr. Eric P. Baron is a staff ABPN (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) Board Certified Neurologist and a UCNS (United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties) Diplomat Board Certified in Headache Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute, Center for Neurological Restoration – Headache and Chronic Pain Medicine, in Cleveland, Ohio.
He completed his Neurology Residency in 2009 at Cleveland Clinic, where he also served as Chief Neurology Resident. He then completed a Headache Medicine Fellowship in 2010, also at Cleveland Clinic, and has remained on as staff. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
He has been repeatedly recognized as a “Top Doctor” as voted for by his peers in Cleveland Magazine, and has been repeatedly named one of “America’s Top Physicians”. He is an author of the popular neurology board review book, Comprehensive Review in Clinical Neurology: A Multiple Choice Question Book for the Wards and Boards, 1st and 2nd editions, and has authored many publications across a broad range of migraine and headache related topics.

Uwe Reuter, MD, PhD, MBA
Dr. Uwe Reuter is a professor of neurology at Charité University Hospital of Berlin, specializing in the role of CGRP in primary headaches. Dr. Reuter is a graduate of Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. He completed three years of postdoctoral studies at Harvard Medical School. At Harvard, Dr. Reuter focused on basic research in primary headaches and migraine aura. He continues his clinical practice and research in basic and clinical headaches. Dr. Reuter is a member of several national and international headache organizations, and currently serves as board member of the European Headache Federation.
Andrew Blumenfeld, MD
Dr. Andrew Blumenfeld is a faculty neurologist at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles and a director at Haven Headache & Migraine Center in San Diego.
He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is also certified in headache medicine. He has been an active researcher in headache with 27 patents issued for various treatments. His research interests have focused on the use of Botox for migraine, and he helped to develop the injection protocol used in the pivotal migraine trials.
He has been widely published, with over 100 publications. One of his manuscripts was voted the top publication in the journal Headache.

Amaal J. Starling, MD, FAHS, FAAN
Dr. Amaal J. Starling is an associate professor of neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She joined the Mayo Clinic in 2012 and is currently a consultant within the Department of Neurology and the program director for the Headache Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Starling received her MD from the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed a transitional year residency, a neurology residency, and a headache fellowship at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Starling is an active member of numerous migraine advocacy organizations, including the American Headache Society (AHS), the American Migraine Foundation, and the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). She is also involved in events supporting migraine, including Headache on the Hill, Miles for Migraine, and the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy. Dr. Starling is currently serving on the AHS board of directors and is the chair of the AHS Advocacy Committee and a member of the AHS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. Dr. Starling has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the AHS Above and Beyond Award for Service, Manfred D. Muenter Award for Excellence in Clinical Neurology, the AAN Annual Meeting Residency Scholarship, the 2012 Spirit of Mayo Clinic Award, and the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship Award.

Pierangelo Geppetti, MD
Pierangelo Geppetti, MD, is a professor of clinical pharmacology at the Medical School of the University of Florence, and is the director of the Headache Center and Clinical Pharmacology Unit of the University Hospital of Careggi, Florence. Dr. Geppetti is an expert in the pharmacology of neuropeptides, particularly in the field of neurokinins and calcitonin gene-related peptide (neurogenic inflammation). He is a member of the Board of the Italian Association for the Study of Pain and of the Italian Society for the Study of Headaches.
His scientific activity has focused on primary sensory neurons and neurogenic mechanisms of inflammation in migraine and other types of pain. Dr. Geppetti has authored more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals and is co-author of a series of papers on the physiopharmacology of pain transmission and inflammation.
Mattias Linde, MD, PhD
Mattias Linde received his MD in 1993 at Lund University, Sweden, and in 2002 he became a specialist in neurology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2005, he received his doctorate with a thesis on migraine and worked as an associate professor of neurology. In 2010 he was recruited as a consultant at the National Advisory Unit for Headache in Norway (Trondheim). Since 2011 he has been a professor of neurology at the Department of Neuroscience, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway’s largest university. Currently, he supervises six doctoral students at NTNU.
Mattias Linde has written over 110 scientific articles, books, and textbook chapters mainly on the epidemiology and prophylaxis of migraine. He has collaborated with researchers in 18 countries and has worked in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO). He is project manager for the first nationwide survey of headache disorders in Southeast Asia. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Headache and Pain and of the board of the European Headache Federation (EHF).
Mark Braschinsky, MD
Dr. Mark Braschinsky graduated from the University of Tartu, faculty of medicine and neurology in Tartu, Estonia, in 2006. Immediately following, Dr. Braschinsky began work at the Tartu University Clinic at the University of Tartu, where he currently works as a senior physician in the field of neurology specializing in headaches. In 2010, Dr. Braschinsky created the SAU Head Pain Clinic, and soon after, he founded the Estonian Headache Society, of which he is president today. Dr. Braschinsky serves on the board of the European Headache Federation, the International Headache Society, and Central and Eastern Europe Against Migraine (Central and Eastern European Migraine).
